So much to discover! In this course, students learn about the role of stories, history, and culture in strengthening communities and contributing to identity and a sense of belonging. They’ll also learn about Indigenous people in Canadian society, with a focus on First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. They’ll explore how Alberta has grown and changed throughout history and will discover how the following elements are integral to the landscapes and environments of Alberta:
