Right now in my life I am considering a career in sports medicine/kinesiology/physical education, and teaching. There are many reasons why I want to pursue this as a career, a main reason would be the fact that I love biology and anything to do with how the human body works and functions. I also really enjoy sports and working with people. Another reason I am thinking about this career choice is that I like helping people in any way I can, and medicine is a very good way of doing that. I am currently working towards this career by taking sports medicine 15 in school, mecial science 15, and science 10. Another step I am taking to achieve this career is by being a sports medicine trainer for my high school football team. In the future I plan to take all 20 and 30 level science courses, as well as sports med 25 and 35. I will also be contining to train for the football team. A step in the long run I plan on taking is going to university and getting a bachelors degree in either physical education or science in kinesiology. I may also end up getting another degree after that in teaching, physiotherapy, or chiropractic. I feel like the only thing that could possibly cause these plans to change would be if I need to upgrade or take another course. Another possible road block would be if I decided to travel somewhere for along period of time. I don't think I would consider an alternative career along the way, becasue I want to work with sports medicine. The only thing that I might switch into is a career that onlyhas to do with medicine, but I don't see that happening. In the end this career will be a long journey no matter where I go, and it kind of scares me. It scares me to think that I could fail at it, not enjoy it, or that it could end up being an extremely long process. However in the end I know it will be worth it, because sports, medicine, and helping people are what I love and ultimately I want a career that I enjoy and am happy about at the end of the day. So I know that no matter what happens it will be the right choice, because it will be a choice that I made.
