Advantages:

- More flexible job hours avaliable
Disadvantages:
- The potential of strike
- Competition between coworkers
- Having to pay union dues no matter what
- Employees lose individual rights (everyones a whole)
- Employees that have worked in unions longer get certain advantages, such as first choice for job or first choice for scheldule/vacations
