I'm highly considering a career in law enforcement, more specifcally, a position as a Detective with C.P.S. (Calgary Police Services), or R.C.M.P. (Royal Canadian Mounted Police Force). I've always had an interest in being in law enforcement ever since I was a kid, the thought of keeping people safe, solving crimes, protecting communities, etc. Always fancied me. Not to mention having a badge and uniform and literally living on a strict set of laws always has appealed to me as well. I am currently attending this Hub program to upgrade my high school education for when I attempt to attend university or join the Canadian Armed Forces. In the future as previously mentioned I'm also highly considering joining the military as a Warrant Officer and attending university through the military. This would also give me a much better chance at quickly joining most-any police department I want, as military veterans are typically able to join very easily. The only thing I can see interfering with my career endeavors currently is upgrading my high school education, of which I am doing. I may also consider just staying in the military if I join, as I believe I would enjoy the strict military lifestyle. I feel as though I have a lot of upgrading to do in regards to my high school education and that once completed I will be well on my way to my career.
