I am currently considering a career as a psychiatrist. This is because I want to become a doctor and I want to specialize in psycology. I am very interested in mental illnesses and ways to prevent and cure them. I also like to help people find solutions to their problems and by becoming a psychiatrist i can do all of the things mentioned above. I am working towards this career by getting high grades in all my classes and i am planning on taking two sciences to get into the university programs required to get into medical school. I also am taking sports medicine to get a better understanding of body systems and functions before university and saving up money to use for university. In the future i plan to graduate from high school and go to university to get a bachelor in science degree. After that i plan to go on to medical school, graduate and then specialize in psychology. Some interferences on this plan could be travelling as I really want to travel the world before life gets too busy. Some alternatives i could consider would be to either specialize in another field or not specialize at all and be a general physician. I feel very motivated to complete this journey so I can help people in the career i believe i will enjoy.
