I knew one boy I worked with while landscaping that got his finger smashed bewteen the teeth of the bobcat bucket and an 800 pound rock. It was his first day at work and he did not believe my coworkers and I when we said to stay away from the rock while it was moving, and not to try to stop it if it rolls away. His finger was very badly broken and bleeding a lot. It was a somewhat frightening experience, but at least now I will probably never make that mistake myself. Injuries and accidents can be prevented with proper training, PPE, and company safety policy being followed.
