The world is always changing. You can clearly see that through examples like technology. By having an open mind dealing with change can be much easier. I have learned that by having an opened mind you are able to digest changes easier because you wont just be focusing on the negatives of that change. For example, yes moving means losing everything but it also means meeting new people and living new experiences that many others would not be able to.

To be able to deal with change a number of skills must be possesed by a person. Things like have a clear sense of self can be very helpful because if you dont how do you know how you mind and body does with change? You also need an open mind and able to think through things clearly and in a formulatic way. Without being able to think through things how could you ever see the positives with change and in some cases stay sane?

In the article "wise words for grad in unertain times" the quote i found most relatable to me was “Is success the type of car you drive, or the size of your bank account? It can be tempting to forget everything learned in university except the simple formula MBA = BMW" I believe that this quote relates strongly to my stand of why we learn. We dont just learn to be able to sustain ourselves or our families. We do it so we have a greater understanding of whats behond our own selves and our own needs. With an MBA yes, you can go get you BMW, but i believe that with your MBA you have the power to change the world. You have the knowledge that a lot of people will never gain in their lifetime, and i think thats worth way more then a BMW.
