1. I sliced my thumb at work in march 2013. people were not taking care of the knives and dropped them on the ground and never sharpened them. theknife was bent and dull, when i was chopping tomatoes the knife hit a grove in the cutting board and shot over to my thumb taking a decent chunk of skin. it did not bleed much at the time so i thought i was good. turns out i should have had stitches.
2. if people are safe and take care of equipment there will be less injuries. if someone notices a problem or sees something unsafe speak up to the employer if they dont fix the problem you can take it to the labour board.
