A stop in work caused by a mass amount of workers that refuse work

Strikes are sometimes used to change government policies, Workers might go on strike if they feel they are being treated unfairly.

A lock out is a temporary work stoppage or denial of employment during a labour dispute initated by the management of a company.

This is different from a strike it usually happens when employees arent aloud on the property whether it be hiring security guards, fines, changing locks, or simply not allowing them to pumch in on a time clock.

Air Canada amd Canada post needs to be running so that it doesnt stop the rest of the world from being productive. Canada simply cant just go on strike. Flying is an essential service.

Air Canada and Post Canada workers went on strike because they wanted more money and better work.
